In the Web space I'm really pleased to be involved with the first Enterprise Web Conference which will be happening in New York City and London this year on the 28th and 30th October respectively. Both conferences will have the same shared themes - REST and Mashups, and some shared speakers but each has a few individual quirks in the line-up to keep my interest, and I hope the respective audience's too :-)
On the Web/REST tack I'm seeing this partially as a warm-up for this year's QCon in San Francisco since a good few of the speakers will be on my REST track there too. I'm really happy to be track host (and fellow speaker) to some of the finest Web integration folks around - of course huge folks go out to those speakers for making this happen.
On the mashup track John Musser (of programmableweb.com) has done a great job of lining up an excellent set of speakers too. I confess if I wasn't a track host, I'd be quite happy to jump between the tracks and get some idea of what the cool kids are doing with mashups nowadays.
[Update] The conference has been postponed, probably until the new year.
