Finally* the article that Savas, Ian, and I wrote for InfoQ has been published. This is a piece we’ve derived from the work we’re doing for our forthcoming book, and lays out where we think integration is heading on the Web.
In the article, we take Gregor Hohpe’s famous Starbucks domain, and re-cast it in Web terms with an emphasis on the HATEOAS constraint from REST, mixed in with a bunch of other useful Web things like microformats to create a Web-friendly workflow that models buying a coffee.
Enjoy. And as always, comments welcome.
[*] Irony alert – the sponsorship of the page rather humourously turns out to be IBM’s REST stack.
