I'd just like to so thanks to you folks out there who attended my QCon tutorial on Web-based services on Monday. The session was great and you guys gave me some excellent feedback - especially around the volume of material covered. I'm going to work that feedback into the tutorial and whip it into shape for GIDS and hopefully QCon San Francisco later in the year. Thanks again!

Are the slides of your talk available...? (Anything...?) I wasn't able to attend, but I'm very interested in the subject matter. Thank you.

Hi David, 

Yes, the full set of slides will be available as part of the (eventual) book release, with the intent that Universities will be able to teach bits of distributed systems courses based on the book. 

I'm also happy for individuals to download them too, of course. 

Expect the slides to be available for public consumption around the same time as the book is released.
