QCon San Francisco: REST Tutorial

I'm super-happy to be speaking with Ian Robinson at QCon San Francisco this year. We're going to be doing a full day tutorial  based on our book (tentatively titled "REST in Practice" that we're writing with Savas Parastatidis). The tutorial will cover Web Architecture, CRUD Services, Hypermedia and REST, Atom and AtomPub, scalability, and security issues in building distributed systems on the Web.

The tutorial runs from 09:00 to 16:00 with plenty of REST breaks on Tuesday 17th November. See you there.

Hi Marco, 

The news is we have completed 5 chapters to our satisfaction. We have another 3 that we're refining, and another 2 being written. That leaves 3 that we haven't started yet. We're still aiming for early next year for publication, but we're also learning that writing is prone to delays! 

It is our intention (and O'Reilly's) to put those chapters that are ready out on Safari Rough Cuts for community feedback.
